GET LOST IN THE MAGIC OF STORIES

JANUARY 2026
THE CORRESPONDENT
We’re ringing in the new year by celebrating the timeless art of letter writing. Our January selection is The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, a debut novel that has quickly become a literary sensation. Told through letters, this exquisite story follows Sybil Van Antwerp, a woman whose life unfolds through the art of correspondence.
We’re delighted to welcome Virginia Evans for an intimate conversation about how The Correspondent came to life, why she chose to tell the story through letters, and what writing this book taught her about human connection.

FEBRUARY 2026
THREE THINGS ABOUT ELSIE
February will be devoted to the magic that happens when women who love literature find one another. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing new ways for Society members to connect, begin conversations, and meet kindred spirits within our community.
Our reading selection is Three Things About Elsie by Joanna Cannon, a beautifully crafted novel that explores the power of memory and friendship. We’ll meet with Joanna for an intimate conversation about her novel and its celebration of female friendship.
