Our Mission

Her Literary Society is rooted in a deep love for stories — the books that shaped us as girls, the heroines who taught us who we could be, and the places that keep those stories alive. We are dedicated to empowering readers to become the heroines of their own stories, uplifting the voices of current and emerging authors, and honoring the trailblazing women who wrote our favorite novels at a time when they were expected to remain silent.

Our philanthropic mission is simple: to support the literature that has supported us.
Each year, a portion of every membership goes toward preserving the legacies of women authors and the spaces connected to our most treasured stories. We look forward to hosting dedicated fundraisers in 2026.
