Meet Our Founder

Hayley Solano is the founder of Her Literary Society, a vibrant community where women from around the world come together to celebrate timeless stories and the extraordinary women who wrote them. What began as The Enchanted Book Club in 2021 has grown into a multi-faceted literary society offering author conversations, immersive travel experiences, and meaningful connection, all while supporting the preservation of women’s literary legacies through donations to landmarks, institutions, and more.

Recognized for her thoughtful interviews and creative vision, Hayley has moderated events at the L. M. Montgomery Conference and was featured in Victoria Magazine’s Business of Bliss issue, which celebrates the work of outstanding women entrepreneurs. Her work with Her Literary Society will be spotlighted in an upcoming documentary by actress Megan Follows, who portrayed Anne Shirley in the 1985 Anne of Green Gables miniseries, and has also been covered by CBC, Canada’s national broadcaster.

In addition to leading the Society, Hayley designs unique literary tours that invite members into the worlds of their favorite books and authors. Her thoughtfully curated tours have been featured in Travel Weekly and praised for offering rare experiences such as intimate gatherings with authors and access to historic literary collections. Through her vision, Her Literary Society has become a beloved destination for women seeking inspiration, unforgettable literary adventures, and the encouragement to become the heroines of their own stories. Hayley lives in Southern California with her dog, Matilda, where she continues to dream up new ways to bring the joy of reading to kindred spirits everywhere.
